There are many different ways to treat MS. We surveyed people for the most and least effective medicine. Consider the response for interferon first. The Blue section of the chart shows the proportion of patients who determined interferon to be the most effective treatment (a little over half), The Purple section is the proportion of people who thought an interferon based medicine was the least effective treatment for their MS.

Now look at the second chart that shows the same information for non-interferon based medicines. In this case, the proportion of people who thought non-interferons were most effective is higher, with almost two thirds holding this view. Similarly, the proportion that judged them to be the least effective was lower.
